Intermediate I

Listening comprehension (nonfiction texts), reading comprehension (texts about German life and civilisation and about current topics), grammar, various means of expressions of the written language, discussion and conversation, vocabulary expansion and idioms, preparation for the language examinations of the universities.

Materials	"Praxis-Verstehen, Schreiben, Stellungnehmen", Strukturübungen und Tests (€ 30 per course), available at our bookshop.
Completion	Examination for the Certificate in Intermediate German I.
Transfer	Students may take entrance examination in German at Berlin TU, FU and HU.

Intermediate II

Reading of difficult texts in standard language, listening comprehension (spoken texts), various types of texts (nonfiction, fiction and scientific), word formation, essays and reports, idioms, discussion and preparation for the language examinations of the universities.

Materials	"Mittelstufe Deutsch", "Sprachheft 2", Übungsgrammatik, ( € 30 per course), available at our bookshop.
Completion	Examination for the Certificate in Intermediate German II.
Transfer	students may take university and college entrance examinations in German.
